Associate Professor of Statistical Science

My main research interest in statistical methodology is causal inference, with methods foci on weighting, propensity scores, principal stratification, differencein-differences, and regression discontinuity designs, and generally causal inference methods for complex data such as spatial-temporal and functional data. Currently, the applications focus on comparative effectiveness research in health studies, economics and biology. My secondary methodological interests include missing data, Bayesian variable selection and imaging analysis.
