We strongly encourage MSS students to complete an internship or research opportunity after their first year. Our program focuses both application and statistical theory, and also the professional skills necessary to be an integral part of your summer project team.

Duke MSS is a STEM accredited program and our international students are eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for their internships.
