Duke alumna Kristian Lum (PhD 2010) recently wrote a blog post about sexual misconduct in statistics and data science. We commend Dr. Lum for shining a light on the problems of sexual misconduct. We condemn all acts of sexual misconduct and harassment — including unwanted sexual advances, groping, and denigration of anyone — in the strongest terms. We express our full commitment to help eradicate them from our profession.
