Ken Land, a professor of sociology at Duke and long time friend of the Department of Statistical Science, has received the Eric Siegel Award for being the best book reviewed in 2018 in the journal Technometrics. The book is Biodemography of Aging: Determinants of Healthy Life Span and Longevity, published in 2016 by Springer. Ken's co-authors include Anatoliy Yashin and Eric Stallard. Congratulations, Ken!
