Professor Amy Herring is the recipient of the 2019 Janet L. Norwood Award. The award recognizes outstanding career achievement by a woman in the statistical sciences. Herring will be honored at a dinner September 10 in Birmingham, and will meet with students and young faculty at The University of Alabama - Birmingham.
