Posters: Audience Expectations and Design Principles

In this workshop, TWP Writing Studio Director Dr. Eliana Schonberg and Assistant Director Dr. Aaron Colton will guide participants in a brief discussion of the rhetorical situation of academic and professional poster presentations. Participants will have a chance to examine what different audiences expect from posters and how to design posters to meet (and even exceed) those expectations. Please come prepared with a draft poster for generative feedback in the second half of the workshop.
