The regular weekly departmental research seminar on Friday afternoon, 3:30-4:30, will be devoted to undergraduate research.  Up to six undergrad researchers or teams will present to the department.  A moderator will collect audience questions throughout the talks and ask the speakers at appropriate times. November 13, 2021 Undergraduates from colleges and universities all over North Carolina participate each year in SNCURCS [SNCURCS] State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium.   It's virtual again this year and will be held on Saturday, November 13th.   FAQs are here. We had a lot of fun last year!  
September 18 and September 19, 2021 Statfest 2021 Virtual Conference is a two half-days free conference aimed at encouraging undergraduate students from historically underrepresented groups to consider careers and graduate studies in the statistical sciences. It is an ongoing project of the American Statistical Association Committee on Minorities in Statistics.  More info and registration can be found here.
