Secure IMAP, or IMAPS, is IMAP protected by an SSL connection and is offered on the standard port 993 on imap.isds.duke.edu. The SSL certificate is acquired through the Duke Security Office from GeoTrust. Details of this can be found at http://www.security.duke.edu/digital-certificates.html.
